and this week I ...

SUNDAY ...

i watched the F1 ... in the living room ... alone ... loud.

that may not sound exciting, but since i hardly ever watch the t.v. (i don`t have a t.v. in my bedroom) and i hardly ever have the house to myself (i`ve had it to myself alllll week) it is a big fucking deal. and having the t.v. loud is just obligatory when home alone :)

the European Grand Prix in Valencia was snoreville, though ... seriously, i fell asleep ("you fell a-sleeeeep?!", a la Rachel Greene in Friends) half way through the damn race!!! which really does defy the point in general, but whatevz ... i LOVE the build-up before the race (with Jake "Jakey" Humphrey, David "white jeans" Culthard, and Eddie "colour blind" Jordan) and the BBC F1 forum afterwards MORE than the race!

i watch these things for the men, i know.

but i do kinda understand most of what is happening ... for example, Sebastian Vettel ^^^ won, and is leading the Championship ... obvz. duh. innit.

and he`s growing into such a hot racer guy :) #win

the evening was the last night at Glastonbury 2011, and Beyonce was the headline act.

^^ she looked AMAZING!!!! ^^

how does she remember what to do on stage?! sing/dance/chat/entertain?!?!

LOVED every song she performed on that set - and i never say that about her - or anyone, really. it`s not that i don`t like her, i just prefer her upbeat songs to her heart-left, slower songs ... just a preference, and i can always appreciate them ... i`m just a specific kinda person sometimes :)

MONDAY ...

having recently completed full-time education since the age of 3, i have had a well-earned rest.

how long can you sleep for?

i can beat it. i`ve been having a lot of practice ...

TUESDAY ...

went for a big walk with my girly, Laura. walked in a `P` shape from my house, down the looooong road to the park, where we lapped it (making time to jump some skipping-rope while we were in it!), walked to the shops, and bought food :) aaannnddd ... walked back home again.

was a lovely walk.

i could walk for miles. i could walk for days.

... it`s the walking BACK that i hate. it`s not as fun. it`s like when you come home from holiday - it`s over. not that this walk (or any other walk i have ever had to and from the park, for that matter) is in any way at all comparable to GOING ON HOLIDAY ... but you know?

also, watched a bit of the Men`s Quarter-Final at Wimbledon (i only really watched men in these sports!)

Wills`n`Kate were there ...

^^ that bloody ring!!! "it should have been me" hehe :) ^^

^^ such a cute outfit to wear to watch the tennis :)

but PLEASE put some weight on!!!! ^^

also ...

^^ how ADORABLE is Andy Murray?!?!?! bowing to our Wills`n`Kate after he made it into the Men`s Wimbledon Semi-Final :) ^^

WEDNESDAY ...

sleepless night (1 hour, tops) because ... 8am rolled around with my degree classification.

well, i say 8am ... i was on the uni website refreshing the page for 4 hours waiting for my results to pop up while waiting for the postman to drop a letter in with my results on (note: postmen don`t bring results on PAPER in this day-and-age ... so don`t wait for him. waste. of. time.) while also searching+applying for yet MORE JOBS.

i got tried.

i had a nap.

i ignored the phone calls from my Mum asking what was happening with my life.

EIGHT HOURS LATER i phoned up the uni - and i was given the BEST results i could have wished for :)

to understand my enthusiasm at a 2:1 is to understand the journey which i took ... which would take a while.

basically: 3 years in Sixth Form; 4 years in uni; Ormskirk; 5am alarm; 4 hours travel per day; 2nd year i drop out; i go back+repeat 2nd year in a new Liverpool uni; work hard+find out what i want to do with my career; proud of my repeated 2nd year; very proud of my 3rd+final year; exams; dissertation.

in a nut-shell, you see.

anyway, it was a fabulous feeling of triumph of my past, and an optimistic look towards my future :) lovely, lovely, lovely!!!

THURSDAY ...

hungover.

badly.

i deserved each of those 3 bottles of wine. i should have had 4 - one for each year of uni i endured!

nursed a headache for most of the day, but, for some reason, i always wake up early and feel refreshed and determined to do something the morning after ... so, i got round to doing all the little things that i could easily have done without a hangover a month previously.

... and i done the one thing that i could only have done once i got my results: book a restaurant for my Graduation meal :)

it is super-cute and very pretty :) a lovely, laid-back and relaxed place to  have (hopefully) a drama-free end-of-education celebratory meal!

FRIDAY ...

slept. a lot.

i needed the sleep after the busy day i had had previously. serously, Thursday was the busiest day i had had since finishing my exams in May ... i couldn`t have had two of the same days!

watched Eastenders. #standard

watched the Men`s Semi-Final at Wimbledon. (poor Andy Murray, ay? well, what do we Brits expect ...?)

read up on Wills`n`Kate in Canada ... in love with these two. seriously, Kate is the only person who could make me NOT look at Wills! and i LOVE him!!!

^^ god, Wills is GORGEOUS!

LOVE the open-shirt ;) ^^
SATURDAY ...

decided to head out for an afternoon in the sunny Sefton Park. it`s the biggest park in Liverpool, and i haven`t ever been.

"i know!!!" (a la Monica Geller in Friends)

so ... i went :) it`s so pretty! and the sunshine makes it look even prettier :)

and the night-time called for a boxing fight - Klitschko-Haye in Germany. i hate not having a t.v. to order the big, talking-points on :( had to make do with a Russian live-stream that stopped working just as it was getting interesting! had BBC Radio5 Live on, too, though, as i quite like radio commentary - helps with the ol` imagination ;)

^^ this is the quality i was dealing with! ^^

pretty good week :) best week since finishing my exams - very relieved and excited, in all :) looking forward to next week when i have a sneaky-sneaky about things to come ... :) #jinx`dit!
